Mid-State Waste Pick-up – April 29, 2010

Mid-state Waste will be conducting their free curbside pick-up on Thursday, April 29, 2010, for subscribers only.

What can be put out for pick-up on this day:
A maximum of 2 cubic yards (the equivalent of twelve 32-gallon containers)
Put it in hefty bags not to exceed 60lbs each.

Bulky items can also be picked up-Please call 434-9112 ahead of time to let them know.
On this day ONLY, MIDSTATE will be giving a disounted rate of $10 for items that require special disposal. (Refrigerators, Mattresses, etc).
Some items including metal objects, such as waterheaters, dishwashers, etc that may be recycled will be picked up free of charge.

Your stuff should be bagged in strong garbage bags to avoid litter spilling onto the street. Items such as furniture, mattresses or oversize items will not be picked up without prior arrangement and the special $10 will be charged for oversized items.

This is the easiest way to get rid of items that you weren’t able to sell or donate. It is also an excellent opportunity to rid yourself of items that have been cluttering your home, yard or garage.
