Community Clean Up Day – May 1, 2010
For Santa Margarita (CSA23) Residents ONLY-Please present your water bill for address verification

The Fourth Annual Community Clean-up Day will take place. Three seperate 40-yard containers will be available near the elementary school. We will have volunteers available to help participants with the placement of items into the dumpsters.

"We ask that YOU pre-sort into the following:

  • Trash
  • Green Waste/Wood
  • Metal
  • Electronics
  • Usable Construction Materials
  • Items for Donations
  • Recyclables

Items that can be dropped off include furniture, appliances, misc. yard junk, misc. building materials, dead computers and electronics. If you have any questions regarding what can be disposed of, please let us know.

NO HAZARDOUS WASTE CAN BE DISPOSED OF DURING THIS CLEAN-UP. FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON WAYS TO DISPOSE OF HAZARDOUS WASTE FOR LITTLE OR NO COST, PLEASE CONTACT CHICAGO GRADE LANDFILL @ 466-2985 OR THEIR WEBSITE: WWW.CHICAGOGRADELANDFILL.COM.

The community clean-up dumpsters will be available on Saturday morning (5/1/10) beginning at 9 am. They will be removed that afternoon. If you have items that you’d like to dispose of and need additional assistance, please contact us as soon as possible:

Cemetery Clean Up Day – May 1, 2010 (9 A.M.)

You can also help out by volunteering at the Second Annual "Spring Cleaning" a the beautiful and historic Santa Margarita Cemetery.

Where: Santa Margarita Cemeteray (HWY 58 one mile East of S.M.)
What to bring: LOVE AND RESPECT, gardening tools (rake, hand spade, shovel, leaf bags, etc), WHEEL BARRELS.

Kids are welcome. Child care provided.

What to expect: General Clean up of unattended gravesites. Weed and leaf clean up. Pick up broken glass for recycling. And have a "Jolly good time" doing it!
